Training questions, answered
What training do you offer?
We offer small group classes, private lessons, and trainer-led pack walks. We’ll help you choose a good starting point for your dog and your goals.
When is the next class, and which level is right for my dog?
Text us for upcoming class dates and to talk through your dog’s experience and goals before enrolling.
What vaccines are required?
Dogs need current rabies, Bordetella, and distemper vaccinations for training. We may ask to see proof of vaccination.
Can intact dogs join a class?
Yes, intact dogs may participate. Dogs in heat cannot attend group classes. We’ll discuss whether a group setting is a good fit for your dog.
What if my dog has a history of aggression or reactivity?
Please tell us about your dog’s behavior before booking. We assess each dog for group safety and may recommend private training when it better suits their needs.
What if I miss a class?
Group classes are non-refundable once booked. Contact us as soon as you can; rescheduling is at the trainer’s discretion.
Can you guarantee a specific result?
Every dog learns at a different pace. Training gives you practical skills to work on together, and progress depends on practice and consistency at home.
What should I bring?
Bring a flat collar or harness, a standard leash, and small treats your dog loves. Please leave retractable leashes at home; water is available on site.
Where do pack walks take place?
Pack walks are trainer-led outdoor events. Please tell us if your dog has a history of escaping or needs extra space. Owners remain responsible for their dogs during off-site events.
Are training sessions refundable?
Training services are non-refundable once booked. Please check your schedule before signing up.
Who supervises the sessions?
Trainer Jess Parry guides the sessions. For off-site pack walks, owners stay with and remain responsible for their dogs.
